2. Immediate Water Extraction

Our water extraction systems are highly effective in all situations. Working with advanced truck-mounted equipment, we pump burst pipe water out of basements and remove standing water in crawlspaces.

Our technicians also use industrial-grade vacuuming systems to remove residual water from salvageable materials, such as carpeting, area rugs and upholstery.

3. Initial Cleanup and Mitigation

Ruptured pipes often ruin drywall and buckle ceilings. Our teams clean up wet debris and soaked materials, and we take care of proper disposal. We secure the area as needed, making sure interiors are safe as we continue to mitigate the water damage.

4. Deep Structural Drying

An important part of water damage mitigation involves drying out any traces of water trapped inside building materials. This prevents residual moisture from compromising the structural integrity of walls, ceilings and floors.

Our industrial-grade drying equipment includes wood floor and subfloor drying systems, axial fans, centrifugal air movers and heavy-duty desiccant dehumidifiers. We carefully monitor the ongoing drying process.

5. Water & Flood Damage Restoration

This step clears the way for final water damage restoration work. Our technicians thoroughly clean, sanitize and deodorize all interior surfaces. Our in-place drying equipment remains in operation until we confirm normal indoor air humidity.

6. Certified Mold Removal

As our teams clean and disinfect, we keep a close eye out for any signs of fungal growth. As needed, we apply our highly specialized mold elimination and remediation techniques. Our industry-proven mold removal process is effective even against toxic black mold resulting from pipe leaks deep inside walls.

7. Property-Wide Restoration

This last phase returns interiors to their condition before the plumbing emergency. We rebuild walls, replace floors and repair ceilings. Our water damage pros pay close attention to all the details, from trim and baseboards to paneling, framing and wainscoting.

When we’re done, we ask you to inspect our work. With your final approval, we consider the project a success.

What Customers Are Saying

Their staff was incredible when we had a tricky double-insurance claim on our basement when a plumber left a sewage pipe cap off (twice!) in the span of 3 months. It was several months of back and forth with insurance and their staff, Brittney especially, went to bat for us, helped walk the field agents through the estimate, did 3-way phone calls, and even met and did a follow up review of the estimate on-site with their adjuster. They never dropped a ball, and were quick and tidy with the remediation. We can't thank them enough for the perfect customer service when navigating a really rough insurance claims process.

I had some water damage occur in my kitchen; Floors were ruined, drywall was ruined, and cabinets were ruined. I put in a claim with my insurance, and they sent out Carlos and Jerry.I had the best experience with these Carlos and Jerry. They came in and looked lover all the affected area that had water damage. I thought I would be getting an estimate, but they were able to rip up the wet floors and remove the wet walls within the same day.We did run into an issue where Serviced Master found what was presumed to be asbestos tile in the affected areas. I felt like it was the end of the world, because we know all know it's crazy expensive to get that taken care of; But Service Masters work with a 3rd party company - Bluestone Environmental, Inc, who were able to come out and confirm, that it was asbestos. and they were able to set up times and dates, and a time frame of when things could get rolling with the rest of the removal.Carlos and Jerry were so nice, and explained everything that had to happen, down to a "T". They answered all of our questions, let us know what the next steps would be and gave us a heads-up that we would be getting notified about moving our stuff out of the house to that they could work. Carlos and Jerry set up dehumidifiers and fans to dry up all the water (over a span of 4 days). They took away all the destroyed materials, which was lovely, because it wasn't sitting in our driveway. And they sprayed the affected areas with a liquid to prevent mold from growing.Like I said, my boyfriend and I loved the experience we had with them, and we would call upon this team, heaven forbid, we ever needed a water mitigation team again.
